She went to Hoërskool Dr Malan in high-school this would then add to the 4 languages she speaks fluently being English, Afrikaans , IsiZulu and Sesotho. Thato was an all-rounder throughout school receiving awards for academic excellence as well as sport’s excellence having played for South Gauteng Hockey as well as competing and wining in the Segarona Arts Festival through Classic Youth Club . Thato’s passion is Arts and Performance which is why she has training under her belt with the likes of OnCue Interface for TV presenting and Leadership 2020’s radio course . Throughout her studies at North- West University she was a radio presenter on River FM and then later a show producer , she was the number 1 MC for her 4 years at NWU for all social and corporate events such as Mr and Mrs NWU Vaal as well as a Nedbank Leadership Seminar hosted by Nedbank’s Vaal Branch.

In 2021 Thato also went on to win Dj Sbu’s online Radio presenter search and be be mentored by him on Massiv Radio.

Thato has also been featured in local films Bafana Ba Bruno and Uppercut as support lead for Mzansi Magic . Thato is now a full-time actress and accountant having starred in The River 1Magic (2022) Reyka Season 2 ( in production) CBS ‘s King Shaka , Entangled 1

Magic and Magaeng S1 Mzansi Magic. In 2022 Thato participated in Big Brother Mzansi which saw the amplification of her many projects.

Thato’s TV presenting highlights include Soweto TV’s Kasi Vibes & Babize Bonke in 2021 as well as being a presenter on Mzansi Magic ‘s Homeground in 2022..

Thato is also currently on Metro FM on Saturdays 18:00- 21:00 where she hosts with the formidable Naked DJ .
